Well, I made it...31 days of baby stepping my way back to a manageable cleaning routine. You can read my original post on this here.Today I plan to do my list to it's fullest so that I will begin my week next week with a clean slate. I will remember that's it's ok to miss a thing here are there, as long as I just get back on it the next day. I hope you all enjoyed tuning up your wings or learning the Flylady way.

Almost there.....only one more day to go! Today I will be taking a look at my calendar for upcoming events that need cards or gift giving and make a plan to take care of those things ahead of time instead of scrambling around last minute. You can read my original post on this here. I have tried to be more diligent in sending good ol' fashioned cards through the mail. Don't you remember how nice it was to get something in the "real outside at the end of your driveway" mailbox that someone hand wrote something in? I know it sure means a lot to me. By planning ahead this should be a much easier and enjoyable task.
Have a great day!

Today is the best day ever in the My Wings Need a Tune Up series!! Pampering myself...Woo Hoo! You can read my original post here. We can't forget to treat ourselves after doing such a fine job homemaking. So enjoy! I know I will!

Another busy couple of days, but that's ok because it just gives time to keep reinforcing the habits before adding in another one. You can read my original post on what I'll be adding on today here. Drink more water.....Easy! I can do it! ;)
Hope you all have a great day!

So sorry I haven't posted in two days! I have just been so busy I wasn't able to stop and post. I've just been keeping up with things so far with a little wobble here and there, and will be adding on my new task in the morning. What's for dinner? You can read my original post here. This couldn't have come at a better time. Just today I left unexpectedly for an errand, was gone for quite a while, then realized when I came home that I have nothing thawed out for dinner. So frustrating to have a freezer full of food and scrambling around to figure out what we are going to eat because I forgot to set something out. So, on my morning list I will be adding What's for dinner?
Have a great day!

Thankfully, Flylady knows how hard it can be to establish good habits. So she has monthly habits each month for us to work on in order to get into a regular groove. You can read my original post on this here. At the time of my original post on this the monthly habit was different, but you get the idea. This month I will be working on getting myself back on track with my bedtime routine. I have found the doing these things as early as I can has helped, rather than waiting until I'm tired and ready for bed. Too tempting to just say....ehh...I'll do it tomorrow. Which inevitably start my day off mad at myself and in a rush. I don't know about you, but I hate starting my day this way! So, I will be diligent, I will succeed and when I don't....I will not give up....I will jump right back in the following night and that's ok!
So, anyone out there following along with my tune up? Any new flybabies out there? How's it going?
Have a blessed day!

Today is all about just continuing on with my routines and making them habits once again. You can read my original post on this here. The main difference between then and now, I like to try to run the dishwasher early enough to go ahead and empty before I go to bed. This doesn't happen often, but it sure is nice to come down to and empty dishwasher in the morning if possible.
Hope you all are enjoying your habits as much as I am!

Today is my most satisfying step to tuning up my wings. The Swish and Swipe. If you've never heard of this before, you can read my original post here. It's all about keeping the toilet clean. Now do I enjoy cleaning the toilet everyday you may ask? Well......yes and no. I do very much enjoy never having that disgusting toilet waiting to be cleaned which just makes me want to put it off, then in turn just gets more disgusting. By taking literally 2-3 minutes of my day, my toilet never gets to that point and is always company ready. No more embarrassing moments when someone unexpectedly comes over and needs to use the facilities. ;) Go ahead and time yourself to see how quickly you can make such a huge impact on the cleanliness of your home. It's totally worth the tiny time investment!

Today I will be working on changing around my Afternoon Routine in my Control Journal. You can read my original post on this here. Thankfully it's a simple day, because I have a lot of running around to do today. I just love how doing the few things that have been established so far, leave my house in good shape by the time I leave. No coming home to a mess after a long day of errands. Awesome!!
Have a great day!

Today is going to be about beginning to tweak my Control Journal. You can read about this in my original post here. I will be taking my first Control Journal and transferring it to another address book that zips up, has a note section (for my routines), and a place for business cards. My daily routines have been changed a bit as I've been going through my tune up, so I plan to reflect this changes in my new journal. I plan to also add any new contacts that I have put into my phone into this hard copy, so that if the phone is lost or not working, I still have numbers and addresses handy.
Hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day weekend!

Sorry I haven't posted in two days! I had a busy weekend with work and just didn't have the energy in the little spare time I had. Today will be a much more relaxing day. You can read my original post on this here.
Coincidentally I need to do a few loads today as I did a few years ago in that original post. So, my regular routines that I've established so far, little extra laundry, and relax with the family. Not too bad! Sounds like a great Labor Day to me. ;)
Happy Labor Day,
