Hi all,
For those of you following this series....Welcome Back! For those of you new here....Welcome! If you're new, don't worry, you can read from the beginning of this series here.
If you've never heard of Flylady, you can read all about it here.
First of all I want to apologize for the late post today. Today I awoke with a terrible migraine. For those of you who have experienced that, you know how hard it is to get through the day! Today was a true testament to how happy I am that I have been sticking to my list of to do's! I felt so bad this morning that I just couldn't do anything for a few hours. Thanks to Flylady, and the schedule I've been following, I didn't have the guilt normally associated to me not being able to get going due to the headache.
Thankfully, I had shined my sink before bed last night, picked up anything that needed putting away, and had set out my clothes for today. So, I didn't have all those things lingering, and waiting to be done this morning like I have had in the past. I now have another motivator for sticking to my list, and following through to completion. You just never know what tomorrow will bring. I could wake up to an awful headache, sickness, or family emergency, and not be able to get to those things that I just left for later. So, I will try to remember how I felt this morning; glad that my house was a nice clean slate!
After I started feeling like I could get moving, I worked on my list of things I needed to do today, and checked them off one by one. I got such a late start, I was not able to add the new thing that I had planned. A daily five minute room rescue will be added to my list. That's ok, I'll just start that tomorrow. I'm going to set my timer for 15 minutes, pick a spot in the house a go through it. I'm either going to toss it, or put it in it's proper place. I have so many things that I need to let go of. This has always been a challenge for me. I have already started this not long ago, but I'm going to work on this with new diligence! We'll see how it goes. :)
Take care,
Jennifer
